I'll state the obvious: there's a lot going on right now. I don't even have to get into it, because you know what I'm talking about.
It's impossible to function normally in times like these. Posts about funny movies or failed recipes feel unnecessary and out of place. But I also don't feel equipped to pen a think piece on the state of the country and world right now; there are much more talented and knowledgeable fulfilling that need.
